Recipes and saved plans

Recipes are calculated in your browser. Plans you choose to save are stored in this browser on this device. They do not sync to your account. Deleting a saved plan or clearing browser data removes it. Recipe settings also appear in calculator links, so only share those links when you intend to share the settings.

Product analytics

We use self-hosted Umami to understand whether people can create, save, and reuse a plan, and where actions fail. Analytics uses a random PizzaPlan browser identifier, coarse actions and settings, app and build version, and a small set of campaign labels. We do not send your saved recipes, account email, typed text, full page URLs, or raw error messages to Umami. Your browser sends standard network information to the collector; Umami derives browser, device and approximate location information from it.

The identifier stays in this browser until its data is cleared. Unsent events may be stored locally for up to 24 hours for retry. Analytics is best-effort and is not required to calculate or save a recipe. Local development analytics is disabled. Test and operator events are excluded from customer reports.

Sign-in

Google sign-in and a session cookie let you access the calculator. Account information used for authentication is separate from the random analytics identifier.
